Peter Ronai MS, RCEP, CEP, EP, EIM, CSCS, FACSM, FCEPA is a registered clinical exercise physiologist (RCEP). He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM) and the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association (FCEPA)and has over 35 years experience working in community, worksite health promotion, healthcare and higher education settings. He teaches undergraduate and graduate classes His areas of interest are strength/resistance training and exercise programming to enhance physical function. His publications and professional industry presentations at national and regional educational conferences address proper exercise technique instruction and exercise programming and modifications for persons with injuries and/or chronic health conditions. He is an associate editor and a column author for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Health & Fitness Journal and holds service positions in the areas of certification, education and publications with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He has held leadership positions with the ACSM, New England Chapter of the ACSM (NEACSM) and Clinical Exercise Physiology Association.
