This inaugural drone academy will start with the foundations of drone flying, business and legal aspects of drone technology. It will also provide an introduction to programming, electronics and signal processing techniques by using drones as the instrument. Electrical and computer engineering concepts, such as signal processing, frequency analysis, power electronics, DC motors and Scratch programming, will be covered. This is a theoretically intense enrichment program with lots of hands-on building and flying opportunities.
Each participant will receive a DJI Tello drone. Lunch will be provided each day.
The week-long program is $2000. (A discounted rate is available for SHU students, faculty and staff)
